In 2004 I was in a serious motorcycle accident resulting in the loss of my right leg from 4 inches below the knee down. Despite this life altering occerence I continue to keep a positive outlook on things both for myself and the people around me, especially, my wife and son. I truely believe that "What doesnt kill you makes you stronger!" I still continue to do all the things I enjoyed doing before just a little differently now! Bottom line is, your life is what you make it so take time and make yourself happy everyday because you never know how or when things may change!!!
This was a poem that my neice wrote about me and I felt honored so I had to put it on my page!!
There's this man
He's been there all my life
Through pain and tears and love and fights
He was one of the first to hold me
And still hasn't let go
He's miles away now, and I miss him so!
I look at his pictures
And tears come to my eyes
I hated to see him go, I hated to say goodbye!
I wish he was back he's my hero, you know?
He's my Uncle, why'd he have to go??
