Blog Entry: Hi I live in a town called Eastkilbride near the city of Glasgow,Scotland. I have been an Amputee for little over a year now. I fell of a ladder when I was 34 and spent a year getting 10 operation's to correct my ankle, well I took another leap of faith and had a below knee amputation. It was all very surreal I could not get my head around the fact they were going to chop off my leg,MY FRIKIN LEG! Turned out pretty well for a while but I now need more surgery due to infection in my remaining Fibula. On with the fun, my 3 kids keep me going and my wife is not very good at pity, she tells me how it is and brings me back up again. I always keep in mind that I could have been dead,missed all my kids weddings, Grand kids,everything.Here I am alive and gratefull. :smile:
