I am 38 and I am a above the knee right leg amputee, I lost it to a knee replacement gone bad and ended up with a MERSA Infection. I tried to fight it but it got the best of me. I told the DR. to cut it off so I can play with my kids either that or die, not me to give up so fast nor never, I don't know how to. People say I'm crazy but they don't know how free I am now. I take on everyday like it's my last. I have two kids Josh 15 and Isabella 7 that keep me going.I give golf lessons to people with amputees and stroke patience at Gaylord Hospital, I also am certified to do peer visits at hospitals thru the A.C.A. I play on the Amateur Golf Tour for the Golf Channel and during the fall and winter I play basketball for the CT Spokebender's. Thats me in a handbasket so what do you think. Never stop tring!!!

I wished I lived up there! I need the lessons too! My husband plays weekly, and I'd love to play golf with him as well.
Just need the prosthetic...then off I go!
