I attended the ACA conference in Atlanta for the first time and this was my first time flying in an airplane too.I must say that I learned some very interesting information. I have to say meeting other amputees that are like me was refreshing, I felt so normal there. Didnt have to worry about any folks staring at you in a weird way, just a bunch of amputees hanging out and exchanging stories. Back in March, I went down to Georgia and became the very proud owner of a 1972 Harley Sportster. This was my dream bike. With me being a left a.k., this bike was as though it had been created just for me. The gear shifter was located on the right side, which allowed me to ride the bike with no modification whatsoever. I have been at a comfort socket class all week...I love it...we have a lot of laughs.......I am really working hard at walking...I got my remote for my C-Leg finally..yay...Now I can go to standing mode and not have to fight my leg.........Well have a great week everyone...........  ... read more..
