Amputees Supporting Each Other
Posted On 02/23/2009 03:35:18 by Ampufree
I have been an amputee for about a year and a half now. Throughout this year and a half, I've met so many other amputees from all across this big planet and I've come to realize that the support from these amputees have been a heaven sent gift. It's like being apart of a huge family where everyone cares about your well being. We can all understand the ups and downs that comes with being an amputee. So cheerful as they bring you
legs of carbon, and plastic and screws. Your elbows swing like hangers without shirts
in a trailer shaken by storm.
The vacant air, your silhouette
of avid sadness lingering
with cobwebs on the graying walls. At twelve, you're far... read more..
